Girls Guide to Three Estates

An exciting new project, funded by Ragdoll Foundation coming to Hawksley Community Centre. Using creative arts to facilitate conversation about female safety in the local area. Join us for walks, map making , photography and visual art workshops from female artists around Birmingham.

We are so excited to announce the Beginning of this project aimed at girls and women aged 13-21. Here at InUnity we are constantly striving to find new ways to work with, support and empower women of all ages in the Birmingham area. Between the first session on Tuesday 6th December and June 2023 we will be meeting weekly, learning new skills and using these skills to make art that communicates their personal thoughts about their saftey in the three estates area.

We have been doing lots of consultation in the Three Estates area asking women of all ages the places they feel most safe and unsafe in the area. As a group we will explore these places and the work we make together will reflect the consultation .
